RuT Voluntary Fund Donations

Off The Record has been a chosen charity for Richmond upon Thames Voluntary Fund 2020/21.

We are extremely grateful to the Fund and to local residents who donated. Donations have now reached £50,000 for Off The Record!

These funds will enable us to support young people who come with an increasing range of issues including anxiety and depression, suicidal ideation, abuse, self-harm and eating disorders.

To give an idea of how these funds directly support young people:

  • £55 gives a young person a crisis counselling session
  • £500 gives a young person a full counselling programme with an experienced counsellor
  • £1,000 gives 18 young people in crisis immediate support with an experienced counsellor

About Richmond upon Thames Voluntary Fund

The Richmond upon Thames Voluntary Fund is a charitable trust, independent from the Council, that has been set up to give residents the opportunity to donate to local organisations who make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people in Richmond upon Thames.

Richmond upon Thames Voluntary Fund

Every year the Voluntary Fund will select which vulnerable group it intends to support. Residents will then be invited to donate towards local charities that work hard to offer support in this area of need.

The Fund launched on Monday 3 February, at the start of Children’s Mental Health Week, to mark the selected 2020 charity beneficiaries – Off The Record and Richmond Mind.
