When Eddie and Sam lost their daughter, Poppy Drew, in March 2024, family and friends came together to pay tribute to her enduring spirit and her loving, caring nature. In recognition of the emotional challenges faced by many young people today, Poppy’s family members have been keen to support Off The Record Twickenham’s counselling service through fund-raising efforts. So far, an impressive £16,000 has been raised in Poppy’s memory. Off The Record is immensely grateful for this vital injection of funding which has, in turn, enabled us to provide initial counselling sessions for over 300 young people.
Further fund-raising events are planned, including a Vets Match at Grasshoppers Rugby Club in Twickenham on Saturday 8th February and an 80 mile cycle ride on 24th May from Twickenham to Shepton Beauchamp in Somerset, to be undertaken by Mark and Rob.
