It is with great sadness that we report that our Treasurer, Chris Whistler, passed away on 16th May 2025. He joined the Board of Trustees in January 2023, bringing his considerable financial expertise to bear on all aspects of our charity’s operations and, in particular, on the fundraising and accounting side. Chris brought his good humour and practical suggestions to our regular meetings and, despite receiving a cancer diagnosis, he continued attending board and committee meetings where possible alongside his treatment. His conviction in the value of OTR Twickenham’s service was evident in his tireless commitment and we are extremely fortunate to have had his considerable involvement for the last two and a half years. He will be much missed by staff and trustees and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
