We’re recruiting counsellors with a passion for supporting young people.
If you’re a trainee or a qualified counsellor interested in supporting young people, or looking to gain experience counselling 11-24 year olds, we’d really love to hear from you. We currently need volunteer counsellors to deliver our vital services and help manage our growing waiting list. For 31 years, Off The Record has provided a humanistic counselling service where local young people feel valued, supported and listened to, and where their emotional wellbeing is a priority.
We provide a supportive and friendly environment, free monthly supervision and 3-4 training days per year, including a comprehensive induction training in working with young people. OTR is an excellent setting to advance your professional and personal development while feeling part of a friendly team. There is a recruitment process and OTR asks volunteers to provide counselling for 2-3 hours per week and to make a minimum one year commitment to our service.
